Engelbrechts was founded in 1989, and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The creation of Engelbrechts’ furniture is a craft, where tradition and innovation, sometimes two opposite forces, are unified. In the recreation, we often require a reduction in resource consumption and refinement and functionality improvement of the material, the production method and the usual thought process.

Engelbrechts works in collaboration with designers and other specialists to develop modern and timeless furniture for the perceptive and quality-conscious user. They all work with the philosophy to create aesthetic, sculptural and functional furniture - where everything superfluous is cut away.

Our goal is that users daily find joy in the thoughtful details that are found on nearly all Engelbrechts’ furniture.
