Ingo Mauer: the Art of Lighting

Ingo Maurer started to design exceptional lamps, lighting systems and objects beginning in the middle of the 1960s. For over four working decades, Ingo Maurer and Team – as he refers to the co-workers – has constantly grown, to a group of more than sixty people with production in Munich, Germany.

Manual production by hand is an integral part of our corporate philosophy. With us, people are the key of our manufacture; it is a matter of course, but visitors are usually amazed. We do not want to fool anyone: Of course we can't do everything. Many suppliers with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, many of them from the Munich region, are long-standing partners, and for more unique materials we order from partners all over the world.
